Safety Check is a quick, confidence-boosting inspection designed to make sure your bike is safe, smooth, and ready to ride. Our technicians look over the essentials—brakes, tire pressure and condition, chain and drivetrain wear, bolts and fasteners, wheel alignment, and steering—then make minor adjustments as needed to catch small issues before they become big problems. Whether you’re commuting, training, or just riding with the family, the Safety Check helps ensure your bike is operating safely and reliably every time you roll out.

Basic Tune-Up
A basic tune-up is designed for bikes that are in relatively good shape but need routine maintenance to stay safe and smooth.
Brakes and Gears: Mechanics will adjust the brakes and derailleurs to ensure crisp shifting and responsive stopping power.
Drivetrain Lubrication: The chain is wiped down and fresh lubricant is applied to the moving parts.
Safety Inspection: A “bolt check” is performed to ensure everything (handlebars, seat post, pedals) is torqued to the correct specification.
Tires: Tires are inspected for wear or cracks and inflated to the proper pressure.
Minor Adjustments: This usually includes minor adjustments to the headset (steering) and bottom bracket to ensure there is no “play” or wobbling.

Full Tune-Up (Major Service / Overhaul)
A full tune-up is a comprehensive service for bikes that have seen heavy use, have been in storage for a long time, or are starting to feel “sluggish.”
Deep Cleaning: The entire drivetrain (chain, cassette, and chainrings) is removed and placed in a degreasing bath to remove all grit and grime. The frame and wheels are also thoroughly cleaned. Chain Waxing is optional.
Wheel Truing: Mechanics will put the wheels in a truing stand and adjust the spoke tension to ensure the wheels are perfectly straight and round.
Parts Replacement: include the cost of labor to replace old Parts (though you still pay for the parts)
Bearing Service: This involves cleaning and re-greasing the major bearing systems, such as the headset, bottom bracket, and wheel hubs.
