At Muletown Bikes, we take pride in the quality of our bikes, gear, and service. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and we’re here to work with you if something’s not quite right. Below is our return policy to help clarify your options:

General Return Policy

  • We handle returns on a case-by-case basis. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we’ll always do our best to find a fair solution.
  • In most cases, returns will be issued as store credit. Store credit does not expire and can be used toward any future purchase in-store.

Apparel

  • Final Sale: For hygiene and safety reasons, apparel that touches intimate areas (e.g., padded bike shorts, undergarments, base layers) is not eligible for return or exchange—even if unworn.
  • Other apparel may be returned within 14 days of purchase if it is unworn, unwashed, and with original tags and receipt.

Bicycles

  • New bicycles may be returned within 7 days of purchase if they are unused, in like-new condition, and accompanied by the original receipt.
  • A restocking fee of 10% may apply to bike returns.
  • Bicycles that have been ridden, modified, or damaged are not eligible for return.
  • Special orders and custom builds are final sale.

Accessories & Parts

  • Accessories and bike parts may be returned within 14 days if unopened, unused, and in original packaging.
  • Opened or installed items are not eligible for return, unless defective.

Online Orders

  • All returns on online orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped).
  • Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery and must be in new, unused condition with original packaging.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you believe an item is defective or was damaged in shipping:

  • Please contact us immediately at info@muletownbikes.com with photos and order information.
  • We will work with you to resolve the issue quickly, which may include a replacement, repair, or store credit, depending on the situation.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Apparel that contacts intimate areas
  • Gift cards
  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Labor, service work, and custom builds
  • Opened nutrition products (gels, bars, drink mixes)
